We were so excited to help out Coombs Kennels when they contacted us. Their old WordPress site was regularly being compromised, and they couldn’t edit their site whenever their business changed. We involved our graphic designer, Ai to help create a fun, inviting look for the newly renovated Pet Care facility.
We started off with our INVERSE THEME. We adjusted the colors and height of the banners that were created from their new images. Coombs Kennels recently had photos taken of their renovated facility, which made composing the new look, much easier on us to make a great site. And look how killer it looks on a smartphone! Yowza!
Their site is completely editable, so if their services or rates change, owner, Toni, and her team can go into the tool-whenever.
We went in and added a auto calendar to their Reservation Page, so when a client wants to make a reservation, they can fill out this form, and Coombs Kennels will be notified of the reservation immediately. They receive an email notification of the form submission.
They can also access their recently submitted forms and export the list later for marketing purposes. It is great for their records as well, in case they can’t find the proper information, the SquareHook took keeps a database for any form submission you have.
We are really thrilled about how the new site turned out. If you have a small business, and you think it’s time to get an upgrade, then contact us! We would love to assist you! We have lots of great themes to work with.
We are advocates for change–change in color, font, and often times, design. We like anybody, understands to stay competitive, you have to be a forward thinker. Especially with technology changing and evolving so quickly. To get the best response from your clients, you need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends. We have been working with the wonderful people at Sport Court for several years now, and have worked one on one with their individual dealers across the United States as well.
They came to us with a new request: help them update their dealer site template, so they can apply it across the dealers.
We worked along side the EKR Agency to get the visuals the way Sport Court wanted. We just loved what they wanted to capture–clean, straight forward, way less text (everyone loves more pictures, and less text on a site!) all while using the SquareHook tool to build it out-AND to keep the individual dealers in mind! Sport Court West was the dealer who was ready to make the change, and change they did!
Using the Drag and Drop Editor, we were able to add in the beautiful visuals, along with the content, so dealers can easily customize their site so it is specific to them! Obviously, west coast sport dealers sell more putting greens, while the east coast definitely has the market for roller sports/ice hockey. We needed the template to be universal enough that the site was uniform, but with the customization function for each dealer to showcase sport court flooring they designed and installed.
We can go in and train each dealer how to customize their site with new content, bios, and images to make sure their site is special to them, all while having Sport Court’s seal of approval!
The Gallery is probably one of our favorite features. People aren’t going to make such an investment without doing a little research, and that includes checking out the merchandise!
The Gallery lets you search based on sport/family/facility. From there you can continue to filter your search! You can go ahead and Pin that sport court if you like- add it to your DREAM HOME Board. 🙂
The BEST part, is on the dealers’ side. SC Dealers can upload their latest images, and add in the filtering right there-just add the keywords in! The SH editor does all the hard work for them. So the filtering is a total dream!
The Form Builder is also wonderful! They can collect the information that is critical to make a connection with an inquiring client! So clean and crisp!
The mobile version is SO NICE! It is so basic, it makes the user experience extra fantastic! They do say to keep it simple, and simple is just perfect in this case!
We hope Sport Court West loves their new site as we do! We know that they will adore the ease of use of the SquareHook tool, and the customization options that are at their fingertips!
Contact us if you are interested in a little business website nip/tuck. We PROMISE, a seriously good looking website is something we take seriously, and so will your clients!
When your site gets compromised, it is can be a serious labor to get it back up. If you have received “This Site May Be Hacked” message from Google in your Webmaster Tools, or your website displays the same in Google search recently, you need to diligently get that removed. Why is it happening? Google may believe your site has been compromised recently, and is taking extra steps to protect you and your site visitors. Now, you just need to get that notification off. Why?!?
Because it could seriously hurt your SEO ranking AND site visitors may be leery of proceeding to your site with that message. (it’s like the Scarlett Letter)
If your site has been scanned, and your site is working great and this notice is still there, Click HERE on the Google Help. We also posted their steps below:
The “This site may be hacked” notification won’t be removed until the webmaster of the site takes action.
Try these steps to fix your website:
- Register and verify your site in Google’s Search Console.
- Sign in to Search Console
and check the “Security Issues” section to see details of sample URLs
that might be hacked. Fix the security issue that allowed your website
to be infected. Otherwise, your site is likely to be reinfected.
- Read our resources for hacked sites for detailed information on how to fix your website.
- Request a review in the Security Issues section in Search Console
when your entire website is clean and secure. After we check that your
site is fixed, we’ll remove the “This site may be hacked” message.
Be meticulous, and make sure you have completed these steps. It may take a few days/weeks to get it removed, but that notice isn’t going anywhere–until you let Google know your site is okay.
We all want safe, functional sites. And we just wanted to say sorry that it happened to you. Good luck!
When we hear that clients can’t edit their site because they have parted ways with previous developers, it breaks our hearts. When clients move on from said ‘cranky developers’ and the site becomes static, it is just a matter of time before we get a call. Holistic Elements was in a serious bind, with not only a static site they couldn’t edit, but the site wasn’t mobile friendly, and their hours and staff had changed a bit. Geesh! We swooped in to help solve all their problems!
This site was SERIOUS NOT Mobile. Look at what was getting cut off, because the site wasn’t responsive. Check it out! We felt so bad, that one of our talented developers added a sick side navigation. Click on that mobile hamburger, and the menu pops out from the side. 🙂
Their site was so old, they didn’t have a form on the contact page, so clients had to submit and email to their staff about an appointment. And let’s face it, if you were composing an email to a clinic, would you think to mention what insurance you had? Probably Not. That’s what’s so great about a form, it tells the user what the clinic wants to know-no thinking required!
We fixed that right away! If their H.E. staff wants to update what
information they want to gather from site visitors on the Contact Page, they can easily go
in and change their form in the SquareHook Tool. To make life even
better, all forms are saved in a database for them to export at their
leisure, for marketing purposes.
Plus we added a Google Map on there. (great for when you’re on a smartphone!) Check the AFTER Contact Page.
Ronda and TJ are busy editing their site, at their leisure. As their needs change, their site will too, because they know exactly how to edit their site, and have been doing so for several months now. Woot!
If you have a completely un-editable site, and need help, contact us! We are here to bring your business site into the 21st century!
Our great friends over at Impatient Cow are completely dominating the visual world. They specialize in animation, 3D Technology, video, illustration and more for your company’s needs. They are so amazing, they are specializing into different fields. They created a stellar site, Industrial Visualizations a while back, to cater to those companies in engineering, transportation, and public safety fields.
They have another field they work with, and that is the medical field. When you go visit a medical professional these days, you stumble onto visuals that inform you. That is exactly what they do, and they complete illustrated this in their newest site, Vizidyne Medical.
Vizidyne Medical IS THE EXPERT in their field, and they have the experience to back it up! Their About Us page not only highlights their background, but they showcase incredible photos to showcase the technologies they use to make these incredible visuals.
Using the SquareHook Portfolio, they can upload their work and potential clients can check out their work. It is amazing! They can upload a YouTube or Vimeo video that pulls into a really attractive grid–AND it saves on storage space! 🙂
Vizidyne nailed it on the head when they put together this site. Their visuals are fantastic! Obviously, they know creative, and they have made their site both informative and beautiful! It makes us feel so awesome, knowing they took the lead and created this site on their own, using our easy website editor.
Vizidyne clearly needs a call to action–and that is to start a conversation about a client project. They utilized the SquareHook Form Builder to add a form to their contact page, so their team can quickly and easily reach out to these potential clients, after an inquiry.
We love the side bar menu pops from the side, on a smart phone-which allows you to continue to enjoy seeing the site, while you peruse the mobile menu! We just love it!
We were so happy that Vizidyne Medical wanted to use our tool again to create yet ANOTHER gorgeous site. If you have a site you’d like to redo/upgrade, contact us! We are here to help you showcase your business in the best light possible!
If you are looking to get some crazy real/detailed assets for your medical group, contact them–we don’t know how to do that. 🙂
We are so flattered when we have a repeat customer. It tells us that they are really happy with their site/our services, so they want to come back for more! And to those clients that keep coming back, we say Thank You! The owners of Life Bridge Kids came to us to build a site similar to their child psychiatric practice website, but this time have the new site catered to adults.
Life Bridge told us that the SquareHook Editor was SUPER easy for them to edit and they wanted a site that looked just like their existing one, with some new information and customized graphics. We told them, no problem! We actually used our site cloning feature to not only save us time to create a similar site, but it saved them money too! (win win for everyone!) Tada! We have Life Bridge Nevada!
We pulled in our talented graphic designer, Ai, to take some of Life Bridge’s stock images, and tailored them to be specific to them, and their marketing campaign. (a little bit of customization goes a LONG way)
Obviously, with this practice being different than their child clinic, they have different questions clients may have before making an appointment. So we put new content into an awesome accordion FAQs page. With so many questions, we don’t want a site visitor to be overwhelmed with content. Accordions are so great for FAQs with so many Q&A’s.
Our tool is so awesome, where you can hyperlink as many links as you’d like (and that is always great for SEO, linking to other reputable websites) On their Resource Page, we took out child-related links, and added in additional resources that are helpful for adults.
Look how great the mobile version looks! We are just smitten with the Wharton Theme overall, but we’ve added a custom header feature from our Dodgeball Theme (you can have the best of both worlds, if you want it!) and with the colors and visuals for Life Bridge Adults, it makes for the perfect combination for this site.
We’re so tickled that Life Bridge is happy with their second site, and we look forward to working on more sites for them! If you are interested in having sibling sites (sites with a VERY similar look) Contact Us! We want to make your life easier!
We love exciting new projects….especially if it is outside our normal realm of work. When the author of She Bites came to us, he told us a bit about the plot line, and what he and his co-author wanted.
The story focuses on a dedicated veterinarian who takes care of people who abuse the animals she treats. It is a dark novel, with a seriously lethal protagonist. We knew this would be a custom build, and it would need some seriously great graphics!
Come on! The site on a mobile device looked killer too, with the visuals that we had put together.
We put the author in touch with our secret weapon-our stellar designer, Ai, and she was inspired by the novel to create a dark color palette, with hints of red.
We kept the content pretty uncomplicated…making the site more of a teaser, to get people to pick up She Bites. But we had to add a bit about the creative authors. They deserve credit for their work…and we loved their photo! #whysoserious
The Contact page was left simple-listing only contact and social media info, so followers can find out what is going on with the She Bites sequel…because, heck, we read the book, and it totally left us wanting to know what happens next with the eerie Dr. Sparks.
If you are looking for some beautiful, custom graphics, contact us! Nothing dresses up your site more than visuals customize to YOUR website. It adds so much.
We loved how this site turned out, and hope those over She Bites feel the site reflects their story. Go check out the book! It was fast-paced thriller, and we think would make a great movie or television series. Can’t wait to read what happens next!
We can’t really think of anything we love more than to take a good looking site and make it mobile friendly! We recently had the opportunity to work with Primary Care Alliance to do just that!
We kept the clean look and feel pretty much the same as their previous site, with a couple new upgrades. Using the Wharton Theme, we were able to mirror a great deal of the features they had on their old site, including the right sidebar on every page.
On PCA’s previous Frequently Asked Questions page, site visitors had to scroll through a number of pages to get through all the questions.
We decided to create an accordion feature that displayed all the questions at once, and you could get the answers to the questions you were interested in. Their FAQ page now, is much more straight forward.
PCA told us one complaint they had was that they received a lot of spam form submissions. With our awesome Form Building Feature, we were able to add a captcha to their Contact page, as well as their Request More Info page.
And now, to the mobile functionality. Every site built on the SquareHook CMS is a mobile friendly site. Check out what PCA site visitors were losing as the screen size changed:
Things were getting cut off. Not good. Now check out how lovely their new site looks on a minimized screen!
We have trained the PCA staff, so they can continue editing/upgrading their site, on their time. They don’t have to wait for a developer to get a hold of them to add a new page, or replace out an image. Having that control, can make your business unstoppable!
Contact us, if you’re looking to do just that, or if you’re looking for some guidance on your site. We are here to help!
We love working with local clients, and we were even more thrilled to help out the Sugar House Farmer’s Market because one of the board members took our SquareHook Website Building course last spring. #yeahbrad
They were fans of Gonzo’s Candy site we recently finished, so we hooked them up with the Clean Canvas theme as well. They had a new fun logo, and a great color palette to work with, so it was a breeze putting this site together.
The Board really wanted to inform site visitors who they could potentially work with, so on the About Us page, we added both the Board and recognized some pivotal volunteers that are apart of the SHFM. Our tool works great for them, because as more people join the board/volunteers or as members step down, they can go in and edit it on their own!
Volunteers are obviously needed for a non-profit, so SHFM made it a point to be sure to inform site visitors of volunteer positions/roles available and answered some faqs on their Volunteer page.
Speaking of FAQs, the SHFM constantly gets the same questions from inquisitors, so they thought a Frequently Asked Questions page, could save them a lot of headaches, and confused farmer’s market attendees. We added an accordion feature, so the content didn’t overwhelm with too much. People can click on the question they want answered, and avoid having to be bombarded with info they don’t want to see.
SHFM gets lots of wonderful Vendors to sell at the market. But some people may not be able to attend a market day, and pick up what they wanted, from that certain vendor. The Market teamed up with Famer’s Market Direct, so people can actually buy something online, from that favorite vendor. Kinda cool, huh?
We also added in a form for people to inquire about becoming a vendor. So SHFM can now highlight a different vendor every week with their new Vendor of the Week Blog-to drum up some excitement and showcase who will be at the market!
What about people who were on a stroll and decided they wanted to visit the Farmer’s Market?
This site is completely mobile, and there is a Google Map that can
actually guide you straight to the park, to pick up that special
We think their site is fantastic! The more images and people they get involved in their market, the more they can showcase it on their site! We loved how it turned out, and hope they find it super user-friendly too.
Contact us if you are ready to make your business site mobile-and easier to maintain!
We are so thrilled to be sharing a post of a recent website we finished for Pardner’s Plumbing. Brenda came to us, with a desire to update not only their site, but their logo.
We work with one of the most talented graphic designers around, Ai, who was ready to help out. Here is a shot of of their previous logo. They have used it for decades now, and wanted a little update.
After working with the people over at Pardner’s the last few weeks, they have a a new logo!
They wanted to incorporate the green and the tans into their new site. Pardner’s wanted to keep the look of the site similar to that of their previous site, but with a little more fresh, and of course, with updated content. 🙂
We love the upgrade; and hope they are happy with their new logo and their new site too! They can get on their site, at any time, to add content, or adjust information! They don’t have to wait for a developer to change that phone number or social media link. They have the control to manage their site.
And come on! This mobile site looks great!
If you find yourself wanting to upgrade your site or logo, contact us! We can hook you up with a new look!
