Bach Homes came to us, looking to reconstruct their company home building website. They didn’t need a lot of graphic design work on this website, because they had imagery that spoke for themselves!
They provided some really wonderful banners that immediately gives a site visitor the confidence that Bach Homes knows what they’re doing.
Bach Homes After:
Bach Homes Before:
This site has a lot of visuals as well as important information. Buying a home is one of THE most expensive investments you’ll ever make. Bach Homes recognizes this and wanted to give lots of information to inquiring home buyers.
Specifically, Bach wanted to improve upon their existing website by developing their home plans section. Bach Homes wants to showcase all of their incredible home plans so a potential home buyer can see not only the look and feel but search based on their family’s home needs. This page allows site users the functionality to narrow down their home specs in the search on the left hand side. They can search for homes that are only rambler style, with 3 bedrooms, and more than 3,000+ square feet.
Once someone has found a house they are interested in, they can select the home they want to see plans to. Not only that, but they can share the home and get feedback by sharing it on their social media:
Bach wanted a cool feature on their communities page, that populated all their Homes/Townhome communities. They can see an eagle eye view of the properties. As they continue to expand, they will just need to add in the new latitudes/longitudes to their map.
After a user selects the property they want to see, they can find out more about the community home plans and the selling agent. Bach Homes can continue to add tabs as their communities and features evolve.
We added that mapping feature to their Rental Communities that span the US. Again, they can adjust that as they continue to grow.
This site turned out great, and we are so pleased with the final result, both on a desktop or smartphone.
If you get excited about a home you may want to invest in, you’ll probably want to share a URL to your family and loved ones, for feedback or encouragement…having a mobile-responsive website is key for that.

We were really excited to work with Brett and Mario on recreating a new, updated website for Mario’s Mexican Bass. They were looking to have a website that was editable and mobile friendly….come on-they are appealing to the avid adventurer and traveler-they use their smartphones all the time! We thought the WHARTON THEME would be a great gender neutral option for them. 🙂
They sent us over lots of great imagery–from former trips and wanted to incorporate them into their site. We used a rotating carousel feature on the home page, that also linked off to stationary portfolio pages.
Not only that, they wanted to add videos that showcased where visitors would stay and fish!
The mobile version of this site, is super attractive and easy to navigate–just what Mario’s Mexican Bass was looking for!
They previously used PayPal to process payments for their fantastic trips, but wanted to be able to accept card payments. We incorporated our eCommerce tool to accommodate their request through their Fishing Packages page.
With our eCommerce tool, we added a rotating carousel of images from the trips, and listed the inclusions of the fishing package. Potential clients could see exactly what they were getting for the price.
We think this site was really successful for what Mario’s Mexican Bass was hoping to accomplish. We hope their customers enjoy the new professional styling.
If you’re looking to get a new website, we have options available for any and every type of clientele. Contact us if you have questions about what we could do for you or your business!
We were so excited to work with Big Picture Classes in creating an updated, super functional website that could be edited by any of the BPC team! They wanted a functionality where site visitors and members could easily find and get signed up for a number of classes, workshops, or download eBooks.
Using our eCommerce tool, we incorporated their class products into a custom shopping page. They are able to add different sections (including information about the Author, About eBooks, etc)
The results of adding in product information? Site visitors can view any product by selecting the item, and they can get more detail about the class, share the information about the class, give the workshop as a gift, or ask more specific questions about the course.
Under the Connect section, visitors can view galleries, join in a forum, or be apart of the BPC community.
The Explore section we created was pretty nifty. We incorporated our SquareHook blog feature, where they can tag specific topics: scrapbooking, photography, journaling, mixed media, projects, and videos.
The easy method of blogging, was translated into a beautiful, interactive feature where visitors could search for an article, then share or jump into the conversation on that post.
We also incorporated their social media on the right had side of the Explore page where people can follow Big Picture Classes on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.
On their menu, we created a sidebar pop out where people can do a more specific search, including finding out more about teachers, view galleries, and more! The side bar looks great on a smartphone, and gives any BPC visitor the opportunity to view and purchase on their smartphone while they are on break at lunch, or do it straight from their phone or their desktop.
(the home page had some really killer rotating banners that linked off to key places around the BPC website)
Our team is really pleased with this site, and hope Big Picture Classes users enjoy the newly updated look and feel!
