GBI Austin Texas Has  Stellar New Site!

We were more than happy to help GBI Austin, Texas build out a fresh site similar to their Corporate Headquarters. They had some pretty great visuals for the home page, which obviously makes the site way attractive!  Sarah brought in a design concept that we were happy to replicate for them.

They wanted to got live before the summer was out.  Our multi-dealer feature made it easy to replicate the Corporate Great Basin Industrial website.  We then omitted pages that weren’t relevant to their business in Texas.  They could also go in and customize their site how they’d like.

Using our eCommerce feature, we were able to build out a Product page for them, where they can add in previous commercial work.  Our tool doesn’t just have to be for selling products….It can be used
as a gallery of sorts, or in this case, a way to show projects. They can add sections to inform potential clients and showcase what they can do.

Their team can now easily adjust their site at their leisure.  And as they continue to grow, their site can grow along with them.   Plus, their site looks killer on any desktop, smartphone, or tablet.  We love making the world mobile!

We Love to Help Out Our Do-It-Yourselfers!

We absolutely LOVE getting ambitious website diy-ers!  But what do we love even more than that?  Helping those diy-ers customize their website, so it feels like a professional built it for them.  The ETC Group is just one of those special clients!

image

They wanted some direction, but they wanted to learn how to manage their website, and build it with their team. We were there to help guide them on their web building journey.  They were checking out our fabulous templates, and decided the WHARTON THEME was the template for them.

We helped the ETC team by showing them how to add rotating banners to this theme by hitting up the APPEARANCE section of the SquareHook editor.  They were also able to adjust their color settings under the DESIGNER section.

The ETC Group also wanted some custom images, and asked if we could help them out.  So one of our talented graphic designers put together these fun icons for their Services page.

One of their favorite features about the Wharton Theme was the customized footer.  When you select the arrow button, a form will populate for site visitors to fill out to receive more information.  They have 4 different locations, and they wanted those visible on every page.  So we assisted them in customizing the footer with the 4 locals and contact numbers.

The Contact Page was easy for them to create.  Their team used our drag and drop editor to add columns to drop in addresses, contact information, and maps. Our ‘Add a Square’ feature makes doing this absolute cake!

While the ETC Group was building out their website, they were also slowly building their blog.  Using our awesome blogging tool, they are able to blog easily, whenever they want.  Their news blog looks clean, it’s easy to follow, and site visitors can see the latest news posts out there.

Red Iguana Is a SquareHook Tool User

image

All of our SquareHook staff are Red Iguana fans.  We have gone there for numerous work lunches, and we used to say how awesome it would be if we could re do their website!

There are so many people that know of Red Iguana’s stellar reputation, but when visitors come into Utah and they’re looking for some killer Mexican food, they have to find them online to locate them.  The former Red Iguana site wasn’t mobile friendly, and with such a huge following around the country they need to be accessible to the out-of-towners.

Plus, with all of the reviews and accolades they receive, they need a way to post that information immediately!

We reached out to the owners (Bill and Lucy) and they said they were looking for a fresh new concept to represent them and how busy their restaurant locations are.  We knew that visuals were going to be key for this website, because if any of you guys have been to one of their 3 locations, you know that they are colorful and eclectic!

So SquareHook got to work with visual elements that reflected what Red Iguana is known for: their yellow brick buildings, red roof accents, sticker collage doors, checkered plates, and neon lights.  We integrated some of these elements into their website, including social media and review stickers:

Diner’s Drive-Ins and Dives was a huge deal, which made the ever popular Red Iguana, even more popular!  We made sure imagery from Guy Fieri’s visit was a staple feature on their website, including the Food Network video.

We customized their About Us page.  They have a lot of really awesome historical pictures that we wanted to showcase. So we added a an iframe to create a mobile dialogue so people can click on one of the picture frames and a little image narration will pop up.

Many Red Iguana patrons know that there are several locations, but devoted followers many do not know of their newer locations.  So it was a big deal that we inform people through our banners. We put together 3 very different rotating banners for the Red Iguana site.

The first banner was focused on the original Red Iguana.  There is so much history there, and we wanted to do a collage representation.  Our very talented photographer captured their location at several different times of day to create a well rounded lookimage

Red Iguana 2 has an awesome patio and has Lucy’s brother and former head chef, the late Ramon Cardenas Jr.’s car right outside.  It was important we capture that, and the surrounding iconic landmarks on the west side of Salt Lake.

The third banner, the Taste of Red Iguana is their newest addition to the Red Iguana family.  It is located in the City Creek Center Food Court.  We incorporated some recognizable geographical elements to help illustrate where Taste of Red Iguana was.  This banner definitely evolved as we worked with Bill and Lucy.

We are seriously so thrilled how the Red Iguana site turned out!  We know that their website visitors will have a great experience browsing their menu items, finding out more about their history, and being able to contact the Red Iguana Locations easily.  Stay tuned for new updates on their site because as their popularity grows, they will be editing and adding more content and photos.
